Information

The Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 was enacted on March 24, 2016, and published in the Official Gazette on April 7, 2016. According to Article 32 of the Law, the provisions of Articles 8, 9, 11, 13, 14, 15, 16, 17, and 18 came into force as of October 7, 2016.

The Law was enacted to protect fundamental rights and freedoms, particularly privacy, in the processing of personal data and to regulate the obligations of individuals and legal entities processing personal data, as well as the principles and procedures to be followed. With this text, Safari Otel informs and enlightens visitors while also providing access to the “Personal Data Protection and Personal Data Sharing Consent” document for review.

Safari Otel commits that it will not sell, rent, or otherwise share the personal data (name, email address, work and home addresses, phone number, and other personal information) provided by visitors through the forms on this site with third parties.

Processing of Your Personal Data

Processing of personal data refers to any operation performed on data, such as obtaining, recording, storing, preserving, modifying, reorganizing, disclosing, transferring, taking over, making available, classifying, or preventing the use of personal data, either fully or partially through automated or non-automated means as part of a data recording system.

Data Controller and Representative

Under the Law, your personal data may be processed by Safari Otel as the data controller within the scope outlined in this document. Safari Otel is responsible for determining the purposes and means of processing personal data, establishing and managing the data recording system. Once the Data Controllers Registry is established, Safari Otel will register as a data controller accordingly.

Reasons for Processing Your Data

Your personal data is processed under Articles 5 and 6 of the Law for the purposes of conducting necessary operational activities within our company, offering products and services tailored to your needs, ensuring the proper management of human resources, making and implementing commercial decisions, securing legal protections, and other similar objectives.

Your Personal Data May Be Processed Without Your Explicit Consent in the Following Cases:

• When it is explicitly stipulated by law;
• When it is necessary to protect the life or physical integrity of a person who is unable to express consent due to actual impossibility;
• When processing is necessary for the execution of a contract;

Rights of Data Subjects under Article 11 of KVKK

As a data subject, you may submit requests regarding your rights as outlined in this document. Safari Otel will process such requests free of charge within 30 days, except when a fee is determined by the Personal Data Protection Board.

Data subjects have the following rights:

• To request information about processed data;
• To learn the purpose of processing and whether it is used accordingly;
• To know third parties to whom personal data is transferred;
• To request correction of incomplete or incorrect data;
• To request deletion or destruction of personal data;
• To object to automated decisions that negatively impact the individual;
• To demand compensation for damages incurred due to unlawful data processing.
